So what’s next for the e-commerce landscape? Black Friday – the loosely organised, pre-Christmas shopping sales event that takes place in November – always rolls around quickly. This took place on the 11 and 12 October, and featured just as many crazy discounts as the original Prime Day earlier in the year. If that wasn't enough, Amazon also managed to fit in another round of spectacular sales and saving with the announcement of its October sales event, dubbed the Prime Early Access Sale. The two-day deals extravaganza saw enormous discounts on a spectrum of brilliant products, from 2-in-1 ultraportable laptops to ANC earbuds to best-in-class mattresses. Lots of products were dropped to their lowest EVER price on Amazon, with up to hundreds of pounds-worth of discounts per item.
